Attic Room

Experience cozy charm and historic character in our Attic Rooms at the Captain Wohlt Inn, a historic boutique hotel in Hermann, Missouri. Located on the third floor of Captain Wohlt’s Home, these intimate rooms offer elevated views overlooking the inn’s main garden and biergarten—creating a peaceful retreat above the heart of the property.

Each Attic Room features a comfortable Full XL bed with premium linens, making it an ideal choice for solo travelers or couples who appreciate a snug, thoughtfully designed space. While these are our smallest rooms, they include many of the same amenities found in our Deluxe Queen Rooms, including a smart TV, Keurig coffee maker, mini fridge with freezer, microwave, wine glasses, coffee mugs, umbrellas, and convenient extra outlets.

Bathrooms are newly updated with walk-in Onyx showers and modern finishes. Due to the historic nature of the building, bathrooms are compact but well-appointed. The rooms themselves are intentionally cozy and best suited for guests under 5'10", as ceiling heights and layouts reflect the original architecture of the home.

Guests are welcomed with one of our famous fresh-baked cookies—big enough to share—and enjoy another freshly baked treat each day of their stay, a signature tradition of the Captain Wohlt Inn.

Breakfast is not included with Attic Rooms but may be added for $21 per person and delivered directly to your room for a relaxed start to the morning.
